Pencil pleat is a standard heading suitable for curtains and valances. It is gathered to fit track and most curtains look best with a double fullness, unless the drop is very short. This heading option is suitable for plastic tracks and poles.
Pinch pleat is a more decorative heading option and have permanent sewn in pleats for a more luxurious and tailored finish. We require the exact track or pole length as this option is constructed to fit that size. To make up the pleats, it is necessary to allow 2.5-curtain fullness. Suitable heading for track and poles.
This heading is a contemporary look created with fabric loops in either matching or contrasting fabric and stitched to the top edge of the curtain, omitting the need for heading tape. Tab lengths are 10 cms unless otherwise specified. This heading is only suitable for poles and may require fewer widths.
Eyelet heading is a contemporary alternative for use with metal curtain poles only, folding curtains into large even pleats. The Nickel or Brass eyelets have an internal diameter of 40mm and are suitable for curtain poles with a diameter of up to 30mm.
